This feels like some kind of school essay, “What I Did During The Weekend”. It is too but probably not up to the standards in schools these days.
Saturday morning my delivery of Disgaea arrived and I had a short play. I then had a guest arrive, me! Bryan McFadden mcphee came over and much mooching was done. We did the geeky thing of watching the final two episodes of Alias season three and - with no expense spared - watched it with banana milk (it’s a running gag, well less of a gag, more of a ‘thing’).
Once the end of season was over (a ‘meh’ end of season rather than an ‘ooh! eek! aik!!’ one), off we went to Wetherby to see Claire. We need to buy ourselves umbrellas and learn how to ‘walk posh’. Food, Buffy (that’s Buffy the vampire slayer not buffet) and much dissing of git chefs was the order of business. After Claire was due back to work, it was cinema time where we went to see Troy (yes again) and thanks to peer pressure, a bluejack of “Hope You Enjoy Troy!” was sent to a mysterious mobile owner during the trailers for the film.
After the film, I was driven home and mcphee went to Claire.
Sunday was a day of getting to know Disgaea which is a very cartoony fantasy strategy type game. It was also a day of shopping which was a strange experience. Before shopping, clear skies. Driving to Tesco, rain came down like never before, thunder and lightning during the shopping, rain on the drive back and finally, once pulled up at home ... clear blue skies again.
All in all, a quite geeky weekend. I seriously do not get to spend enough time with the people I call my friends so any time I do spend with them is grrrreat in a Tony the Tiger way.
Also… I’m not convinced about Vanilla Coke and Vodka.
