The details of the personnel on each of the two shift patterns was given at work recently and up to that point everyone had been discussing just who they wanted on their shift pattern. Actually it’s far more accurate to say who they didn’t want on their shift.
From the top we have Linda, my supervisor. Now a lot of people have problems with her because she’s an evil bitch but she seems nice to me. The only thing I don’t particularly like about her are the mood swings (like I can talk...). She’ll say one thing one day and you’re having a joke and the next day it’s all serious and no jokey time. As I said, she’s fine but unwilling to fight for her staff.
Next we have Liz, one of the most annoying people I have ever met. She sticks her nose where it’s not wanted, has an opinion about everything and her opinion is *always* right, she’s loud, she’s bossy, she’s ... a cow
We have ‘the lads’ - Adam, Michael and Karl. They’re fine but they are unwilling to do much work.
Christine - The ex. Still manages to annoy me every single day. Nevermind the fact she’s a lying evil bitch (fun, huh?), even when she says “hello” it annoys the hell out of me.
There are others who annoy me too - easily annoyed perhaps? But there are people I like to chat to and enjoy working with.
So, splitting the group in half, how many of the annoying people would I end up with. Knowking my luck all of them? Well, no. Shockingly enough I ended up with none of the annoying people. That’s zero. Nilch. Nada. None. My only explanation for it is that I must have a guardian angel looking over me.
