Never mind the butterfly effect, there is a much more dangerous sneaky creature to be watchful for - the dragonfly. A dragonfly caused an injury to a workmate who will be off work for about six weeks total. The injury? The dragonfly broke two of his toes!

More information is obviously needed on this and it took a while. For some reason getting more details about the broken toes took much badgering of a relative to go and find out because here was a funny story, we all just knew it.

He’d caught a dragonfly in the house in a jar and was transferring it outside to set it free. Once he was outside he removed the top of the jar… and the dragonfly flew into his face. He paniced in fear and swung around and managed to kick a post, thus breaking the toes.

I’m wincing as I type this but that makes it no less funny and we already have lots of plastic dragonflies ready to unleash on him on his return to work.
