I never bought Diablo 2 when it was originally released but due to a current obession of Blizzard’s games (due to the future release of Worlds of Warcraft) I saw it and decided to buy it.

I decided to do the full install with the cinematics and everything installed on hard drive. After installation I ran it, chose my character and waited for the game to load and ... nothing. It crashed, I thought, and after some struggle, managed to get back to desktop. I tried again and same thing happened wish some added delight of the game not thinking the play CD was in the drive (pfft, copy protection).

After an uninstall and reinstall I tried again ... and the pause in the same place. Glaring at it, at the box, at the manual and ... the game continued. It seems that it pauses at that spot every time. Oops . If only it game me an indication it was doing something I’d not have wasted a large chunk of my time.
